By monitoring air-quality and climate variations at customers’ target sites, issues with buildings and legacysystems are detected, verified and quantified. With this in hand, the configuration of new systems, as well as retrofits to legacy systems, can be made far more precise, resulting in larger energy savings and improved cost-effectiveness. Room parameters monitored may include temperature, humidity, carbon-dioxide (CO2), barometric & differential pressure, people presence, noise, light, particulate matter, VOC, and other gases.
A packaged service for Air Quality & Climate Monitoring is offered under the service name InventiAirAware (IA2). IA2 is an air monitoring system for rapid installation. It is easy to install and configure, either as a temporary or as a permanent monitoring system for office, service or residential indoor spaces. It provides the user valuable understanding of the behaviour of the indoor climate and air quality vis-à-vis presence of people and energy usage of the building. The information is used to optimise the automation of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC). Default parameters include humidity, carbon-dioxide (CO2) and temperature.
